Thanks to everyone who supported our annual Chicken Roast fundraiser when it was held at Riverside Park.
We’re still working on the details, but below is what we know to date. Please keep an eye on this page as we announce more details about this year’s Lions Chicken Roast.
- Date: Saturday, Sept. 7
- Location: Traxler Park, Janesville
- Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Format: Enjoy lunch in the park, carryout, or drive-thru
- Menu: Half-chicken dinner (breast, wing, leg, thigh); baked potato; applesauce, and a roll.
- Water and soda will be available to purchase.
- Cost: $13 in advance; $18 at the door.
- Advance tickets are guaranteed a dinner anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- New this year: All tickets (advance and day-of) will include a coupon for $5 off a $25+ delivery order from Mac’s Pizza Shack!
- Those who purchase advance tickets via our website will receive their Mac’s coupon at the door.

We’re also working with several community-based organizations and businesses to have additional activities and information booths available throughout the day.

Purchase Advance Tickets
By purchasing an advance ticket, you are guaranteed a dinner anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
