To raise awareness of the severity of diabetes and offer ways to prevent and manage it, Wisconsin Lions Foundation observes Diabetes Alert Day. According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, "About one-third of adults have prediabetes, but most don't know it." Diabetes is a serious condition and it’s important to understand your risk. The sooner you know your risk, the sooner you can begin to prevent and manage symptoms.
