Helping our youth attend college
For many years the Janesville Lions Club has recognized the obligation of our community to provide financial assistance to our youth who aspire to a post-high school education.
Presently we provide four $1,000 scholarships to Janesville high school seniors to attend either college or a technical school.
Students from Janesville Parker and Janesville Craig high schools and the Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired are eligible to apply for the annual scholarships.
Talk to your school’s guidance office for more information and to receive an application. The application deadline is April 1. Scholarships are awarded each May during the schools’ awards nights.
