The Janesville Lions Club is proud to present its Students of the Month for March 2019. The club honors two students from each of Janesville’s two public high schools during each month between October and May every school year.
During their month, the students attend our bi-monthly meetings and learn more about the Lions Club and our community service projects. Each student receives a certificate signed by the Lions Club president in honor of being selected as a Student of the Month.

Micah Overley
Senior, Craig High School
Parents: David & Kathy Overley
Clubs/extracurricular activities: Soccer, Baseball, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Investment Club.
My interests include: Baseball, sports, the outdoors, card games, history.
Post-graduation plans: Attend Milwaukee School of Engineering and earn a degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Mariah Fenner
Senior, Parker High School
Parents: Billi Jo & Jason Fenner
Clubs/extracurricular activities: FFA and Washington Seminar.
My interests include: I love anything agriculture or related to animals, as well as biology and health sciences.
Post-graduation plans: Attend UW-Milwaukee to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, before I go to medical school.
Additional comments: I am extremely honored to be receiving this award, and hope that this inspires others to do the best that they can in everything possible.
Sarah Frank
Senior, Craig High School
Parents: Rudy & Mickey Frank
Clubs/extracurricular activities: National Honor Society, Letterwomens Club, Varsity Lacrosse, and Investment Club.
My interests include: Traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
Post-graduation plans: Attend Winona State University and major in business administration with a minor in international business or finance.
